With only 2 days to my first half marathon, I'm starting to feel the nerves.
I do feel that I'm pretty well prepared, I've stuck to the training plan as best as I could as can be seen by this chart.
I've averaged 40.5 km a week with 5 of those being close or just above 50km. I have done 4 runs at or longer than the planned duration of my race.
Right now I would not have minded a few more or even longer long runs to help with my confidence, but I am very happy that I did not just choose a training plan that would have me running 16-18 km as my longest and then just have a goal of finishing on race day, I am far too competitive for that.
